Preparing for Primary Maths Olympiad Competitions is a book written to introduce Mathematical Olympiad to young Mathematics enthusiasis and to engage their interest at early age.
The book consists of 18 chapters that cover a wide range of topics and questions
typically set in Mathematical Olympiad competitions. Each chapter begins with
an Overview followed by guided Worked Examples and tips to facilitate self-learning. Alternative methods and approaches in solving questions are also included. The Let's Practise section provides a wide variety of non-routine problems that allow pupils to hone their problem-solving skills.
The book also includes five sets each of P5 Maths olympiad Practice Papers (1 h 30 min) and P6 Maths Olympiad Practice Papers (2 h) to provide pupils with ample practice for various Mathematical Olympiad competitions. Detailed Worked Solutions are provided for thorough understanding and self-checking.
